Fever!
Julia developed a fever on Saturday morning. The timing was bad because this was the day of cousin Nathan's first birthday party. We had been looking forward to it for a long time because there would be lots of kids there for Julia to play with and it's always fun to see a one year old dive into a birthday cake for the first time. By the early afternoon her fever was still up around 102F so it was clear she wouldn't be going. I went by myself and Sheryl stayed home with Julia.
Julia didn't sleep well last night. She stayed in our bed for most of the night and didn't sleep soundly. We were all tired today. She was in a fairly good mood today despite her fever still hovering around 100-102 for most of the day. It does seem like an ear infection again. Typical symptoms...high fever, no cold symptoms, touching her ear and ear discharge. I think she'll have to stay home with Grandma tomorrow and hopefully we could get her into her ear doctor soon.
Here's a few pictures of Nathan's party.
